Mike & Cindy Nelson

After serving as our Senior Pastor for 28 years, Pastor Mike and his wife Cindy are transitioning from leadership at Victory to active members in advisory and support roles in the church. Both Mike and Cindy have teaching degrees. Mike’s desire is to see people who’ve never had a personal relationship with Jesus Christ discover the saving grace of God through faith and to assist them in discovering and experiencing an abundant life in Jesus. He has a passion for God’s Word and helping people realize who they are in Christ. Cindy serves in women’s ministry at Victory and disciples women and teens. A couple years ago she retired as a kindergarten teacher at True Light Christian School. Mike and Cindy have been married for almost four decades and are blessed with three grown children, all of whom are married, and four grandchildren. Mike and Cindy enjoy being with their family, golfing, camping, hiking, gardening, and occasionally taking long road trips together.
