What does it take for people with a faith to become people with a mission? This is the first in a series of messages from the book of Deuteronomy. Deuteronomy is God's Word for people on the threshold of something new! You already have faith, so what's it going to take for you to become a man or woman on a mission?

Two great events that took place before you or I were born shape our lives today. The first took place in the Garden of Eden; the second took place at Calvary. Our destiny in Christ depends on what we do with both of those events!

1 John 4:18 says, "perfect love casts out fear," but what kind of fear does love cast out? We are told many times in Scripture to fear the Lord. In this message we'll see that there is a fear that love removes and a fear that love brings.

Is it even possible to love God the way He desires us to love Him? Who is called to love God this way? Am I? How can I love God more? (Deuteronomy 6:45 & Mark 12:29-30)

Living the Christian life isn't so much about prioritizing or maintaining a balance. It's about aligning our life around a consuming passion for the LORD. Moses tells us how to do it! (Deuteronomy 6)

Life's celebrations are important! They say a great deal about us and what we value. The feasts that God gave Israel to celebrate helped strengthen their faith and increase their joy. What is worth celebrating to us as Christians today? Deuteronomy 16 answers this question in a marvelous way!

How can we live with what we don't know? There will be many things in life that make no sense to us! They baffle us. They may even tempt us to despair. What keeps us from throwing our hands up and saying, "What's the point? I give up!" This week we will see how God enables us to live with the unrevealed by remembering what has been revealed. Deuteronomy 29:29
